This collection is my last memoir of the paintings that I drew on a Sopot beach in July 2000. In addition to recording the scenes themselves, it attempts to portray my overall creative process for painting and photography.
Using the material recorded, I aim to show that not only does the nature, in its complexity, change recently, but so does our very perception of it. These changes make its representation very difficult, if not sometimes impossible.
By using traditional painting as a means of expression, I hope to have strengthened this statement. The painting process seeks to catch up with actuality, which is constantly changing. In this latest project the beach has become my reality while composing the art.
